Cinnamon-spiced apple layers baked into buttery pull apart bread, ideal for fall snacks or breakfast treats.

# List of Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough or crescent roll dough

→ Fruit Filling

02 - 3 medium apples, peeled and finely chopped
03 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice
04 - 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
05 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
06 - 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Topping and Glaze

09 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
10 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar
11 - 2 to 3 tablespoons milk

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a standard 9x5 inch loaf pan.
02 - In a mixing bowl, stir together chopped apples, lemon juice, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.
03 - Slightly flatten each biscuit or crescent roll dough piece to form rounds.
04 - Place a spoonful of the apple mixture onto each dough round, then stack them and arrange vertically inside the prepared loaf pan.
05 - Brush the top with melted butter and any leftover apple mixture.
06 - Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the pull apart bread is golden brown and cooked through in the center.
07 - Allow the bread to cool slightly. Whisk powdered sugar and milk together to form a glaze, then drizzle over the bread before serving.

# Additional Suggestions:

01 - For best results, use Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples. Optionally, add chopped pecans or walnuts for crunch, or drizzle caramel sauce instead of glaze for a richer flavor. Variations include substituting apples with pears or peaches. The loaf can be assembled ahead and refrigerated overnight before baking.
