# List of Ingredients:

02 - 2 (9.5-ounce) bags soft caramel candies, unwrapped
03 - 1/4 cup pulp-free orange juice

→ Chocolate Topping

04 - 1 (4-ounce) bar 53% cocoa dark chocolate, chopped into 1/2-inch pieces

→ Decoration

05 - Assorted small candies, chopped nuts, and sprinkles

→ Miscellaneous

06 - Vegetable oil cooking spray

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with vegetable oil cooking spray. Insert craft or thick wooden sticks halfway into the stem ends of each apple.
02 - In a medium heavy saucepan over low heat, combine caramel candies and orange juice. Stir occasionally until candies melt and mixture is smooth, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool for 2 minutes.
03 - Dip each apple into the caramel mixture until coated. Place coated apples on the prepared baking sheet and allow to set until firm, approximately 2 hours.
04 - Place chopped dark chocolate in a medium bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water. Stir until chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
05 - Drizzle melted chocolate over caramel-coated apples using a fork. Return apples to the baking sheet and rest for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with assorted candies, chopped nuts, or sprinkles. Let chocolate harden at room temperature for 3 to 4 hours.

# Additional Suggestions:

01 - Use craft or thick wooden sticks to securely support apples during coating.
02 - For best results, allow caramel to fully set before applying chocolate to prevent slipping.
