Place milk, ice cubes, chocolate ice cream, and roughly broken chocolate sandwich cookies in a blender.

Blend on low speed to start, increasing to high. Continue blending until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, about 30 seconds, scraping blender sides as needed.

If the consistency is too thick, add a splash more milk; if too thin, add ice cubes or a scoop of ice cream and briefly blend again.

Pour immediately into a tall glass. Top generously with whipped cream and finish with chocolate sandwich cookie crumbles.

For a richer flavor, blend in 1 scoop vanilla ice cream. For a caffeinated twist, add 1 shot espresso or 1/4 cup cold brew before blending.
