Incorporate drained kidney beans, drained black beans, diced tomatoes with juices, pumpkin purée, tomato paste, water, chili powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir thoroughly to combine.

Cover the pot with a lid and bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Stir occasionally and allow to simmer gently for 30 minutes to develop flavors.
