Healthy No-Bake Truffles (Printer-Friendly)

Wholesome no-bake truffles with chocolate and natural ingredients, ready in minutes for a quick sweet treat.

# List of Ingredients:

→ Truffle Base

01 - 1 cup smooth yogurt or blended cottage cheese
02 - ⅔ to 1 cup nut or seed butter (almond, peanut, cashew)
03 - ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
04 - 3 tablespoons liquid sweetener (maple syrup, honey, or agave for vegan)
05 - ¼ cup almond flour or coconut flour (optional, for thicker texture)
06 - Pinch of salt
07 - Optional mix-ins: chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips, shredded coconut

→ Coating (Optional)

08 - ½ cup dark chocolate chips (use dairy-free chocolate for vegan)
09 - 1 teaspoon coconut oil
10 - Optional toppings: sea salt flakes, chopped nuts, cocoa powder, shredded coconut

# Preparation Steps:

01 - In a mixing bowl, blend the chosen base ingredient with cocoa powder, liquid sweetener, and salt. Incorporate almond or coconut flour if a thicker consistency is desired, along with any optional mix-ins. Stir until the mixture is smooth and cohesive.
02 - Cover and refrigerate the mixture for 10 to 15 minutes until firm enough to handle. Using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, portion and roll the mixture into balls with slightly damp hands, then arrange on parchment paper. For a firmer texture before coating, freeze for 10 minutes.
03 - Melt dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in short intervals using a microwave or double boiler, stirring frequently until smooth and glossy. Dip chilled truffles into the coating, allowing excess chocolate to drip off, then return them to parchment paper. Immediately garnish with optional toppings if desired.
04 - Refrigerate coated truffles for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until the chocolate hardens. Serve chilled. Store leftovers refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 week or freeze for extended preservation.

# Additional Suggestions:

01 - Use smooth base ingredients for easier rolling and improved texture. Chilling before coating prevents melting. Keep melted chocolate warm but not hot to avoid truffle deformation or coating issues.
02 - Smaller truffles chill and set faster; larger sizes may require more setting time and offer a richer experience.
