Homemade pumpkin spice syrup with real pumpkin and warm spices for coffee and more.

# List of Ingredients:

→ Liquids

01 - 240 ml water
02 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Sweeteners

03 - 200 grams brown sugar (or monkfruit for sugar-free)

→ Pumpkin

04 - 30 ml pumpkin purée (not pie filling)

→ Spices

05 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
06 - 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
08 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

# Preparation Steps:

01 - Combine water and brown sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until sugar is fully dissolved.
02 - Add cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves to the saucepan. Stir to distribute evenly and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes to enhance spice flavor.
03 - Whisk in pumpkin purée and vanilla extract until mixture is uniform and smooth.
04 - Lower the heat and gently simmer the mixture for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the syrup thickens slightly.
05 - Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the syrup to cool completely. Optionally strain for smoothness, then transfer to an airtight glass container. Refrigerate and shake well before each use.

# Additional Suggestions:

01 - Use pure pumpkin purée and not pumpkin pie filling for authentic flavor.
02 - Adjust sweetness by substituting or varying the amount of sweetener.
03 - Straining enhances texture, especially for cold beverages.
04 - Freeze in ice cube trays for convenient single servings.
05 - Shake well before use to re-incorporate separated ingredients.
